Ifö Electric wins Hemljus Designpris 2024
We are happy and proud to announce that our luminaire Ohm Wall, designed by Kauppi & Kauppi, has been awarded the prestigious Hemljus Design Award 2024. The luminaire has been named Årets Lampa (The Luminaire of the Year) by the expert panel that judges this year’s design classics. We are delighted that our work has been noticed.
The jury highlights Ohm Wall for its timeless and stylish design language, as well as the use of genuine materials that reflect our pursuit of high quality and sustainability. With its IP44 rating, the lamp is just as functional on facades as it is in bathrooms and of course just as useful indoors.
The “Ohm” luminaire, designed for IFÖ by Kauppi & Kauppi, has caught the attention of the design world with its timeless, stylish design and its genuine materials.
This year’s jury has named the luminaire as winner of the title “Lamp of the Year”, and believes that, with its IP44 rating, it fits well both on facades and in bathrooms, in both modern environments and more classically decorated homes. The fixture is a result of traditional craftsmanship and modern aesthetics — a lamp worthy of its price, and one that will illuminate many homes to come.
