Moderna Museet in Malmö

Moderna Museet in Malmö is housed in an old industrial building from 1901, a former electricity plant designed by John Smedberg. The structure today features an extension by Tham Videgård Arkitekter that stands out visually from the original building. Inside, visitors can enjoy food and drinks after exploring the museum, and you will also find numerous examples of our Aton Cairo luminarie there. Moderna Museet is one of Europe’s leading museums for modern and contemporary art, with a collection spanning from the 20th century to the present day – well worth a visit.
