
Gunnar Nylund
(1904-1997)
Gunnar Nylund was the son of a Danish artist and a Finnish-Swedish sculptor and started early with art on his own. As early as 1930, he became artistic director for Rörstrand in Lidköping and was already an established potter.
In Bromölla he has contributed with a relief in Bromölla’s municipal hall and the famous fountain Scanisaurus in the square just aoutside the factory premises. In addition to this, he has also designed luminaires for Ifö Electric’s behalf in the series Lyx in the sixties.
